COMMON QUESTIONS

HOW DO YOU DETERMINE THE MARKET VALUE FOR A HOME?

Current market value determination comes as part of detailed research of recent home sales in the area that are of similar comparison to the subject home. Additions or subtractions to a home's value may occur based on the subject home's amenities, interior and exterior finishes, location, lot size, proximity to interstates, and local attractions.

WHAT PERCENTAGE OF THE FINAL HOME SALE PRICE DO YOU CHARGE?

Commissions are negotiated differently with every home sale. For the most part, the seller is who will be paying a commission for the sale. The commission paid is generally split between the listing agent and the buyer agent. This means for the buyer, there may be little to no money due to your agent for their services.

HOW WILL YOU FIND POTENTIAL BUYERS FOR MY PROPERTY?

The quickest way to sell a property is to make sure the home is priced correctly. I will hire professional photographers to take high quality pictures of the home, and I can also hire professional home staging, if it is needed as well. I have a large database of buyers currently in the market that will get notified as soon as your home becomes active on the market. Your listing will be added into the MLS, social media advertisements, and multiple third-party real estate websites.

HOW LONG IS THE PURCHASE PROCESS?

Typically speaking, from the standpoint of a buyer, the home buying process from initial contact to close will be between 60-75 days. Some transactions are shorter, and some can take longer. From the standpoint of a seller, it may range from 30-90 days or more. This is one of the reasons why hiring a professional, full service real estate agent, who is familiar with the area will be more likely to get your home sold quickest and for the most money.
